Small note: the car will not work with static bodies that are not in layer 2 - that's the layer that is scanned by the wheel raycasts.

this is really cool actually. i have been dying to do my own implementation but failed miserably

Doesn't seem to work on 3.5.1 or Godot 4 after updating to code for it.
The car just kind of floats a little and doesn't start moving except for when it sometimes touches the ground. No clue what's wrong.

What version did you make this in?

i tried to load it into godot 4, and fix the scripts. no more errors, but it only starts to a black screen... maybe someone with more knowledge can update it
