Team Associated RB10 racing on Astroturf

We took the RTR RB10 to see how it works on a proper racing track in a proper race. We tested the car at the Fullspeed Offroad Racing Series rd. 2 and the car worked great. Car was super easy to drive, but slightly lacked in power versus modified motors and slightly lacked cornerspeed. This will improve with some small adjustments still to come. This is currently the best RTR car to start racing with in our opinion!

Looks very smooth, old school design being used as new today, makes you wonder what was ever wrong with that layout

With a lighter racing style motor, brass front bulkhead, servo saver delete and a Maifield 2013 inline style electronics layout I'm sure this thing could be just about as competitive anything else.

These things are gorgeous. I really wanted the Losi buggy (I have two Mini-Bs and I love these damn things, figured why not go full size?) but the Team Associated seems like a much better buy, and with the included 2S LiPo, all for $400, it seems like too good a deal to pass up. That being said, I don't really have tracks near me so I have to travel 30 mins-1hr so I'm going to try waiting for a sale...

I ran mine on carpet twice. Then I went and bought a b6.4;)

I might have to look for a roller of this. Anymore footage of it running?

Thanks for the videos. I just got mine! Beginner here. Experienced basher but new to the carpet track world. Looking to try it out at my local carpet track tomorrow. Everything is stock except for the Flysky GT5 radio and receiver and installed the lap transponder. Is using the full-size 5200mAH 2C Lipo battery going to cause any issues on the track (too heavy?). Is the shorty better? Also, could you tell me the specs on your "smaller spur, bigger pinion"? I'm trying to tune mine as carpet track friendy as possible. Thanks in advance for the tips!
