The firing pin is either going to struck the primmer to little or to much the firing pin screw is off set

I love that the firing pin is not aligned with the mark on the bolt. The full five reload is 100% accurate with all Mosins and when you try and teach someone, they still want to shove the whole stripper clip inside the mag.

I honestly want to own an older Mosin Nagant despite me already owning a 1943 one, there’s just a charm about the craftsmanship of the first generation rifles that will never be matched. They almost have the beauty of a Mauser (which I also own and love) and their simplicity is respectable, it’s almost hard to believe that Mosin Nagant’s are still found today in modern war (Ukraine).

The stripper clip automatically springing up at the end is not realistic at all. You gotta pull those bastards out. Nothing about the Mosin is easy.

I just bought a Mosin (Unfired & Unissued 1943-dated all-numbers-matching M38 carbine) and it takes me like 30 seconds to reload it lmao
