@Donovan Ellis just like I said in the video, this line works too, but this line allows every ldap user get access to their home directory, in some situations, you might not want that, that's why I had to show both processes

@codewalker tse hello, nfs is just the file system name which is 'network file system'. Ergo, in that line, I am stating that the version of nfs I want is the version 3... nfsvers=3. as per the quality of the vid, am sorry, had a few challenges with the system at d time, but never the less, I just wanted to put the video out by any means. just not to give myself excuses

What exactly ldap is doing?
I have cluster. i want to make different groups/users on master using ldap and want to make customized for each user how much node/core he/she will use for computational work/job.
Is it possible to make it?
I seen you video but did find my answer in detail...could you help  me in this regard...thanks alot in advance

You should have showed the file systems being mounted/unmounted with some df -h along the way
