The thing I dig most about this album is it's mystical and somehow nostalgic feeling.

This album is something else. It has captured my heart from almost the very beginning, and won't let it free. It's not even that daring for a psychedelic rock album, but it's still intensely magical. Catchy, entrancing, punchy, sweet, childlike, explosive, dazing, mind-blowing, mystifying...


It helps that one of the first times I listened to this was on my first ever acid trip, out in a field amongst the hinterland forest and creeks.

I was thinking about kevin's opus, and i totally forgot he did this album. His style, creativity, and confidence was peak when he was void of the industry. When he was alone, in his room(s), not too famous. Then the talking heads, experts, and tastemakers get introduced and eventually we get currents (le sigh).

I never made the connection til now, but this sounds like a mix between cortex and tame impala. My two favs. Listen to 24:42 - Quand Vas Tu Rentrer, and youll get it if you know who cortex is.
