How to export Ricoh Theta photos/videos to your phone

Search for the Theta S app in the App Store or on Google Play.

How does it work?
1. Turn on your Ricoh Theta S camera's wifi by clicking the wifi button: it's the button in the middle on the side of the camera.

2. Download the Theta S app on your phone: on the App Store if you're using an iPhone and via Google Play if you are using an Android.

3. Connect your Ricoh and your phone via wifi. Go to your phone settings and look for a wifi connection which starts with the letters THETAXS followed by 8 digits (and sometimes .OSC after). The password to connect to your Ricoh is the last 8 numerical digits of the passcode (this can also be found on the bottom of your Ricoh Theta Camera right next to the place where you plug in your USB cable).

4. Click the "Camera" button on your Ricoh to see the 360 photos and 360 videos stored on your Ricoh. Click on the circular previews to instantly transfer your 360 photos and videos to your phone.

Hi, my images downloads quite slow and then it stops downloading and shows "Error: Failed to forward to spherical image." May I know what's the issue?

Thank you - the Ricoh instructions are deplorable - you got me over the hump in setting up this device.
