I’m confused does this streaming method only work but I also have to have my external/desktop computer on the whole time? Because on my amazon fire stick I connect straight to my google drive with the kodi gdrive add on then just stream from directly. If I understand correctly with this I have to mount/actually physically upload my whole gdrive files onto plex again?

My upload speeds are bad. So this will not work for remote streaming?

Hi thanks so much for the upload. been looking for a way to simply stream files on my mac. Netdrive was exactly what I was looking for!
I need to run some more tests with this to make sure it's right for me, but could you tell me how I would achieve the same result with my computer NOT connected? i.e. is there any way for Plex to read directly from the cloud storage, rather than having to be routed through a computer?

Great tutorial m8, but I have one question. I have movies bigger than 8Gb... does the ramdisk need to be that big?

in onedrive, can't you use the desktop client, right click the file/folders that you want locally and choose "Always keep on this device" ? This will download it locally, like raidrive. I have't tested it but it seems like it would do the same. Anyhow, if that doesn't work I will try this. AWESOME tutorial and raidrive seems super powerful. thanks!

So... If I'm away from the plex server and decide to watch on my phone, will the cloud stream directly to my phone or is gonna use my PCs download speed to host the movie then use the upload to send it to my phone? Asking cause i got a bandwidth limit hehe.

Hello. I stumbled upon your video looking for a way to have my media in a cloud storage. I currently have Mega but it doesn't have unlimited storage like my other cloud service. I also have FileFactory Premium which is unlmited. Currently I have 30+Tb of media going to File Factory. Will this work with FileFactory? Please let me know. Thanks.
