Fascinating. I hope that the experiences of seeing an orange Televerket car or a Hemglassbil from my childhood in the 70:s in Stockholm will shine through. Simons house is just across the fjärd (lake) from my house.

This is what the electric state should have been, just long form. Simon said himself he was happy with the outcome but I don't know.. ive owned the original book for years now and never once did I get the "action-packed Hollywood superstar filled thriller" from it.

I'm a swede, and now i have seen the whole serie and I love it. I'm a fan of Simon Stålenhags painting and a become a little bit worried of that the stories should take place in US and not i Sweden. But that was no problem at all, the stories is universal. But as a swede it was funny with all the swedish easter eggs, like the volvos, the Owe Thörnqvist song i episode 1 and the police car in episode 5. :-)

These series are about letting go and accepting the natural flow of life (birth, aging, death). It's sadly beautiful, melancholic.The secret lies in the deep appreciation of time spent with our loved ones.
