SCOTUS justices are EXPECTED to be above reproach, with the highest ethics, honesty, regard for the law, and neutrality. Failure to meet those standards should mean removal from the bench.

The Supreme Court has a history of making huge mistakes that had to be corrected in subsequent court cases. This just-concluded session of the court demonstrates how many of the decisions will need to be revisited. In the meanwhile, the court has suffered a serious blow to its current reputation.

I presume there will come a time when justice will prevail on the Supreme Court. I haven't seen a lot of that lately.
