it was definitely the worst dorm I had ever stayed in. The hallways always smelled like weed and almost never saw the RAs or any of the staff for that matter. Also practically every machine (dryers, printers, vending machines) in the building would break down or stop working. There were frequent fire drills and some happened AFTER MIDNIGHT. Since one of the floors is connected to trader joes, you can only use the elevators to get in and out of the building. One of the elevators would always break down which caused us to wait for a long time to get in one. I once had to wait almost and hour to get out of the building and I lived on the fourth floor. The rooms have VERY thin walls and could hear tapping and scratching in them every single night. I put in multiple work orders and they did nothing about it. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. Please, just save yourself the stress and trouble and don't end up like me, completely screwed over.

Are single rooms available for Masters students at Palladium?
I'm 28 graduate student moving from the UK to NYC for my masters. Not keen on sharing a room, it's not how it's done in the uk, but I want to live in dorms for my first year to learn the city.
Any info on this would be appreciated.
Thanks
