MANNNN THIS IS SO COOL…… you, sir, just made me realize how interesting q!jaiden and q!cellbit’s dynamic is. jaiden, one of the most important people to roier (who cellbit obviously deeply cares about), is positively associated with a dictator who traumatized, manipulated, & even killed cellbit. despite this, cellbit genuinely cares about jaiden and considers her a part of his family, but no matter how hard he tries, he can’t overlook her friendship with cucurucho, because he watched cucurucho take away jaiden & roier’s son, he watched cucurucho kidnap felps, he watched cucurucho chase him down a hallway with a chainsaw, the list can go on. heck, jaiden even watched cucurucho kidnap quackity, which she communicated with the others, yet she still trusts him.

most of the island doesn’t trust her, cellbit included, yet he wants to trust her so badly because of how much roier (platonically) loves her. he wants to trust her because he knows she’s a grieving mother, but she’s a grieving mother who’s obsessing over her dead son’s memory to the point where she’s isolated herself from other people, building a literal shrine for her dead son, and she’s allowing cucurucho to use her. he feels for her, he understands the pain she’s going through, because he’s almost lost richarlyson multiple times before, but no matter how hard he tries, he can’t overlook her connection to the federation. not to mention the whole “follow the bluebird” thing where the federation threatened his son’s life if he didn’t risk his life following jaiden on a mission, , , ,
