Programming Essentials Python - Database Operations - Overview of SQL

SQL stands for Structured Query Language and it is broadly categorized into following- DDL - Data Definition Language
1.Creating Database Objects such as Tables, Indexes etc.
2.Define constraints such as not null, primary key, foreign key etc.
DML - Data Manipulation Language
1.Inserting or Updating data in the tables
2.Deleting data from the tables
DQL - Data Query Language
1.Project the data
2.Filter based up on the requirements
Join multiple tables
TCL - Transaction Control Language
1.Commit to persistently store the changes.
2.Rollback to revert back changes to the prior state.
