Changed it after Solanke signed for Spurs. Watkins out for him. Saka for Son. Paqueta for Bailey after the Hammers new signings. Alexander-Arnold for Konsa. Team still rates 96%

Agree with leaving out Haaland, but not sure I'd be comfortable with a side bereft of any City players

I really like this draft. Watching Haaland yesterday he looked isolated and lonely. KDB came on and started carving the defence as usual which helped - but I’m not sure about him anymore, except his monumental hat trick risk vs anyone! Think I’m going to go Salah only with a few differentials like Kulusevski or Mbuemo who I think people are sleeping on.

Ahh that classic period of having a solid draft and then frantically tinkering it to death before the deadline panick where you try and find a screenshot of your previous team from 2 weeks ago when it was much better 😂

It's not just the omission of Haaland...there's no City attack whatsoever...how can this be a good draft...would you really have zero attackers from the most attacking team in the league...obvs Haaland is not recommended as a transfer...you would have to rip up the midfield for that

Thoughts on my current team of

Pickford, valdimarsson

Gvardiol, pedro porro, trent, faes, barco

Eze, saka, salah, Gordon

Muniz, havertz, isak

Dabbled with 4.5 keeper and munoz instead of porro then keeping the money in the bank for a late palmer swap from saka but enjoy this balance more

All right! Suppose one goes without Haaland or Salah you end up having eighth big attackers and a fairly strong defence. Then what? There will be still a few good forwards or midfielders who you would like in your team! You are never going to be really satisfied with your team and at the back of your mind still uneasy about not going without either Haaland or Salah!

Like my team better :) I have 7 of the same choices...Thanks for sharing, I also agree that while Fernandes is the main outlet for Utd points, he is too vulnerable to kids playing around him. I don't think he will get consistent opportunities. I have gone Gordon like the AI suggested and have opted for Isak & Solanke. Pedro will come into my team after Brighton's fixture swing.

Dunk Eze out Barco Gordon in improves this team in my opinion, Gvardiol over Saliba should be considered also.

He should downgrade the sub to upgrade Fernandes to Son and Joao Pedro to 6.0 forwards like Wood

If you don't have Haaland you have to have 1 of Watkins/Havertz/Solanke alongside Isak, surely.

Balance or not, starting without haaland is deadly. It's tough getting haaland into the lineup once he runs away with the scoring.

If ths only reason you want Haaland is GW2 then just go without him
