Loved it! Managed to satirize news, tell a compelling amoral story of just how deep someone can go to fulfill their ambitions; a great portrayal of a sociopath.

"Nightcrawler" is a slang term for a journalist who records crimes, freelance, and sells the resulting footage to news studios.
They 'crawl' around dangerous parts of a city, for example, and then simply wait for things to happen.
It's a bit shady and exploitative, because night-crawlers aren't bound to a union, such as the NUJ or IFJ, so they can 'get away' with stuff a normal journalist can't. Plus, the footage they capture, which is usually of accidents/deaths/murders, sells for a LOT of money.
That's why it's called Nightcrawler.

If anyone has seen 'Bubble Boy' then you must be amazed as me to see Jake Gyllenhall go from a silly slap stick comedy, to this serious thriller of a film. I'm more than excited for this movie, it looks original and very promising.
