I met this beautiful lady around in her 60’s at a book signing. I was the last one in line. She signed my book & I even got a picture with her. She was my only idol in life. See I was in a orphanage until I was 6 yrs old & I remember seeing her movies. They kept me strong & hopeful because I was the youngest & was bullied a lot but I was tuff & knew someday I would learn to tap dance & be on a stage. I did. She will always be my hero to be strong & kind like she was in real life. 👍🥰💚

My grandpa had a cleaning business in California and he cleaned for a lot of celebrities. He was hired to clean someones pool and etc. he said he noticed in his peripheral that a young woman was next to him helping him pick up cigarettes. He looked up and it was her. Lol. He said she was absolutely wonderful and he said sbe didn't have to help him but she was so kind and helpful. Turns out it was her house and after a party.

I met Shirley Temple in 1973 when I was in high school, roughly about the time of this interview. We were a high school band representing the USA in Geneva, Switzerland. Few of us had ever been in a foreign country and we were a long way from our homes in Southern California. It was a very hot and humid August. Mrs. Black was working as the US representative in Geneva. She had no reason to even contact us but she came down and spent an hour or more reassuring us. She was very friendly and kind, making us all feel much better. She was a truly great lady and I'll always be grateful to her. Hollywood certainly didn't spoil her despite all the evil people inhabiting it then and now.

My dear mom who is in Heaven, went to school at Marymount high school on Sunset Boulevard in California and was a classmate of Shirley Temple. She said Shirley was always very nice to her. She stayed in contact with her until the mid 1990's ❤❤❤❤
