The Kentucky Derby Horse Racing Game brings thoroughbred racing excitement right into your home! Miniature horses and jockeys race around the track in this exciting and challenging game, officially licensed by Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby. Line up four horses on the starting gate and press the PlayAction Remote Control as you shout, "...and they're off!" Watch as the horses and jockeys battle for the lead, changing lanes as they "Run for the Roses" all the way to the finish line.

Each horse is outfitted with Invisibase horseshoes that can be "trained" by angling and grooming them for speed and stability. Different rule sets make Kentucky Derby Horse Racing fun for 1-4 players in the "Day at the Derby" option. For large groups and parties on race day, play "Riders Up!" rules. In this game, 2-4 players and large groups can guess at the outcome of every race!

Comes complete with four beautifully detailed horse and jockey figures in four colors, Invisibase Horseshoes to train and swap, four numbered tokens to determine your starting lane, a Race Marshall token, and a drawstring Chance bag. This game will be very successful in my opinion. The older versions Tudor had made of this game the horses would clog up because of the board making them switch lanes. Now with each horse having it's own dedicated lane there is no jam ups and every horse will finish. I have been waiting for Tudor to make this game for a long time as I own the older versions. I am tweaking my speed bases as we speak!

Im a huge Tudor and horse racing fan but after buying this game i will tell you 3 reasons why an auto racing game would work much better than horse racing(and i love horse racing more than auto racing)

1.in this game the horses fall over, if cars would be used the center of gravity of cars being low would prevent this from happening.

2. Your races with cars could be multiple laps with more cars on the track than horses where lane changes will not be as huge a factor as they are in this game(and lets face it, lane changes in this game are terrible with horses falling abd short race)

3. The fun factor would blow away this game, you can set up seasons and cool races of different lengths. I would buy an auto racing game like this in a hearbeat!!!
