Great idea for something but not for a lifetime

Awesome project. Not a knock, just some safety facts. Those wires are NOT meant for straight 220/120v wall plug power. They will melt and they will cause a fire. And soon! Normal lamp wires aren’t hard to find or expensive. Simple non-flammable sprays and hardeners are available to spray over this that may give you a 2 min warning, before flames. It’s easier and safer to use thin plywood, stacked veneers, real and proper wiring rated for your country’s guidelines. The rice paper shades are what they are and used in lamps all the time. Or use thin acrylic painted. It may be a decent mock and proof of concept to do this style first to prove it, find places you’ll hit problems, or make improvements. But don’t use this uncoated and improper with the electrical wires. You will have a fire. Not a doubt. It WILL happen and soon.
