Wow! A bit of googling gave me a 2017 paper called "In Vivo Base Editing of PCSK9 (Proprotein Convertase Subtilisin/Kexin Type 9) as a Therapeutic Alternative to Genome Editing" where researchers worked with mice. Their results back then included a reduction of in blood PCSK9 protein levels by ~50%, and cholesterol levels by ~30%, whereas the modern 2021 paper tells us about monkeys and the reduction by ~90% and ~60% respectively. It looks like a significant step forward!
