I Love this song.  And I love this album.  Honestly, I am always amazed at her direction.  A few years ago, I was telling a young bass player and his mom to check her out, and she asked, "what kind of music does she play."  I was like, "Whatever she wants to play."  'Nuff said.

Wow, I like it. I hadn't heard of Meshell Ndegeocello until about two days ago. I was at a classical concert, of all things, and the emcee announced that she was going to be the next performance at the venue. I couldn't even understand the name from the way he said it, so I looked it up, and here I am. I'm definitely hooked on the music, and I might even try to make the show. She's got her own sound, but she somehow reminds me of Martha Davis (from The Motels) and Sade. Not sure that makes sense, it's just a quick first impression.
