System Logistics APPS: Automatic Pick to Pallet System

The new APPS automatic picking system was born with the aim of completing the system logistics portfolio for automated picking solutions - with particular reference to the composition of mixed pallets.
APPS is the ideal solution for applications with up to 1000 skus, a high number of orders requiring 3 to 4 skus per mixed order.
In the apps system, the management of the single case is performed by an anthropomorphic robot equipped with a sophisticated vision system that performs all the handling and manipulation of different cases (cartons, bundles, crates), taking them directly from the source pallet to the custom mixed order pallet, making the entire process streamlined, efficient, and simple.
The APPS is based on two technological innovations:
FRS (Fast Rotation Storage) feeding pallet system, which guarantees the correct speed to picking operations
Robotic handling/manipulating system, which is able to withdraw from the pallet in a single source carton, bundle, crate and deposit them to form the mixed pallet thanks to a vision system characterized by high reliability .
