A Morning Prayer for Today - Lord, May this Day Be One Where I draw closer to You

Dear Heavenly Father, as the morning light fills the sky, I pause to thank You for the blessing of a new day.

Thank You for the breath in my lungs, the strength in my body, and the promise that Your mercies are new every morning.

I come before You with a heart full of gratitude, acknowledging that without You, I am nothing, but with You, I have everything I need.

Lord, guide me today in all that I do. Lead me in paths that honor You and give me wisdom to make choices that reflect Your love and truth.

Let my thoughts be pure, my actions kind, and my words uplifting. Help me to see the opportunities You place before me to be a blessing to others, and grant me the courage to step forward in faith.

Father, I ask for Your divine protection over me and those I love. Keep us safe from harm and guide us through any challenges that may arise.

Let Your peace be a shield that guards our hearts and minds, so that no worry or fear can take root.

Lord, I also pray for renewed energy and resilience. When moments of doubt or fatigue set in, refresh my spirit and fill me with Your unwavering hope.

Remind me throughout the day that Your presence is with me, and that You are my refuge and strength.

May I find joy in the small moments, gratitude in the simple blessings, and strength in knowing that You are in control.

Teach me to surrender my anxieties to You and trust in Your perfect plan.

Thank You for the people You have placed in my life—my family, friends, and those I will encounter today.

Bless them and meet their needs, and let me be a source of support and encouragement to them. Let Your love flow through me, so that in all things, Your name is glorified.

Father, may this day be one where I draw closer to You and where Your light shines brightly through me.

Let my heart remain thankful and my spirit steadfast, as I walk forward in faith.

I commit this day to You, trusting that Your grace will carry me through every moment.
