To hear a president speak like this, not giving out insults or name calling is so refreshing. To complete his sentences and not talk incoherently and to speak with knowledge and confidence. It makes you wonder how in the hell did we get where we are today?

Nixon was a highly intelligent and profoundly insightful individual of the sort who used to be in abundance in the USA

My general take on Nixon was that he had many monumental accomplishments. Some good; some with profound unintended consequences, but objectively significant. Watergate was a soft coup.

Until coming across this Chanel, I can’t say that I ever “got” him. Nothing really resonated. Hearing him in his own words has been an eye-opener in the sense that the same words on paper simply don’t convey just how insightful and profoundly smart he was.

Thank you for making these primary sources readily available to everyone!

I’m always amazed by Nixon’s profound understanding of politics and history. He’s able to pin point the important aspects so easily.

Nixon was a leader, and professional. He made it ; by studying everything hard, and contemplating.
He became President to do, and not to just be .
He sought to govern for the entire country, and not just his " base ".

All these videos convinces me of is that Nixon was sincerely one of the greatest leaders weve ever had. We were robbed of a second term and he was robbed of his legacy in time.

Besides Winston Churchill, my father revered Pres. Nixon. Now, I can understand why.

How true his beliefs and different he and many of today's leaders in leadership qualities!
Even with his great convictions and good philosophy & integrity, a great leader can still make big blunders, probably swayed by bad advisors. So steadfastness & stubbornness is a must when one feels and is confident about one's stance and integrity but always check it out on the true correctness. Steadfast but still allow flexibility, the final arbitrator is Wisdom Not Just knowledge. Good Life lessons for lifetime learning! From all these, I think He was still a Great leader! We need More leaders like him! 🤔😀😃👍

Watergate was minor compared to the level of subsequent corruption. Nixon's biggest flaw was not attending the dedication of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
