Are You Really There?

Different challenges - loneliness, depression, confrontation, and others - are presented with the background the song “A Child’s Prayer.” Answers to heartfelt prayers are depicted as people feel peace through Jesus Christ.

We sang this at my son's funeral. I can't hear it and not think of that day. In my mind, I sometimes sing it as "Heavenly Father, are you really there? Do you hear and answer every mother's prayer?" I don't think I've ever prayed more fervently for anything or anyone more than for my own children. And it does make you realize how much our Heavenly parents love us and want everything good for us.

I remember when I first was looking into the Church back in 2014 and I loved being there for the messages. I didn't understand a lot of things at first, but the people who led by example helped me feel like a relationship with God was definitely a reality. The feeling of attending Sacrament was wonderful and I disliked that walking back out into the world just to be reminded of how much craziness there is in the world, but when I was baptized my life changed. I didn't have a big vision or a huge "Aha" moment. My life changed because I chose to allow God to guide me. Even now with the things I still struggle with, not once have I ever felt that God didn't want me and that highly encourages me to keep changing for the better each day.

Thank you for showing the easily overlooked and silent everyday struggles that Heavenly Father sees. Surely, He is eager to bless those who would simply look to Him and pray. He is there.

All the feels! Not sure why, but I'm tearing up watching this video. I know that Heavenly Father is always there for me as I have turned to Him so many times in my life. I know that He is there and will provide a way in His due time, through others or through study of the scriptures. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Three years ago one of my daughters passed through the veil after much suffering. Oh, it hurts so much. I know all will be made right, because of Christ
A year ago my daughter came to me in a dream. She danced ( she loved dancing) she held me tight, she was so very happy. All will be well 💜

I have definitely felt like a lot of the people in this video. I think we all have. And I love being able to go to my Heavenly Father. But something that struck me as I watched the video, was just that I needed to look outside of myself more. I should be more observant in my busy life. There might be someone feeling lost, lonely, or forgotten. I want to be an answer to those silent prayers. I want everyone to feel how much they are loved and valued. Thanks for the video!

God, Jesus, and Mary, are always bin with us even before we were born to earth because are souls are born in heaven and they sent us down her for a reason, I don’t question it instead, I believe in there light☀️

I love the depictions of prayer in seemingly non-traditional ways. Sometimes, my prayers are in the moment, driving, working, and dealing with others. It is a tender mercy to be reminded that Heavenly Father hears all of my prayers, not just the ones said on my knees ❤

I just watched this video again. It has helped to lift my spirits. I was feeling alone today. This brought me to the realization the Heavenly Father is really there & He weeps when we weep & He is joyful when we are joyful. His love has no ending.
