Hey, this makes so much sense! You mention second day hair, and it just really hit me how my hair is always looking its best one day after I've washed it haha! I personally only use shampoo (whichever happens to be inside the shower) and my hair lacks an enormous amount of volume afterwards and is definitely too soft, as you mention. It just falls flat no matter what I do, but this shed some light on how I could fight against it... Thanks!

This is EXACTLY the answer I was looking for. I was always confused why my hair can’t stand the first day after I shower, but after the second or third day it can be easily styled. I just wish my hair can be curly even after a shower

This was actually great. As I've mentioned many times in the comments I've been growing my hair for about a year now and I definitely have the flatness issue. On work days I'm ok with it because just tucking it behind my ears keeps it professional but I'd been trying to get some more life into it in days I'm not working. Might also need to go to a stylist and get it layered like I believe you've mentioned in a video before.

Thank you! I've been so frustrated with this exact issue. I'm growing out my hair long for the 1st time and I was actually contemplating cutting it because it just flops down. I thought it was because my hair was to thin in the front. But now that I seen this video, I realize my hair IS very soft as you described. I'm not gonna cut it anymore. Thanks for the vid.👍

This is the single most useful video I’ve seen in a long time. I’m a guy who’s tried to grow out my hair multiple times, but it always just ends up completely straight and in my face no matter what I do. Turns out I’ve been using the exact opposite kind of shampoo and conditioner that I should be.
