New Ford Tibbe Magic Tool ? Lock Pick

Looking over the new tool for Ford Tibbe, I got an email from some place in China, they said check out this tool, they had a link to the video and it looked good, SO we bought 2 of them, about $30 usd EA + post, Im yet to try it on a door lock, this is just a quick unboxing and look over of the tool

I've never tried it on an ignition, but I have used it a few time to open doors, especially on the transit vans with the heavy duty tibbe door locks, also it works for when the customer has locked the keys in the back of the transit van and there's a bulkhead preventing access from the cab, if you use the tool to unlock the door twice in under a second, it unlocks the back doors of the van.

I think it is cut to a 1.5 position because that will work on both the 1 and 2 discs, and the 4's will impression all the way because they don't move at all and will push very hard. This leaves only 1 position to move to for the impressioning medium. Thing is, the cuts are only 12 degrees apart and so it doesn't have to go far to do this. I think though, if the lock is new and without wear, and you have a 1 cut next to a 3 cut on the key, then the impressioning medium will not be flexible enough to make the jump (even though it is only 24 degrees).

It's a cool concept though, I just think it needs a bit more cooking. I would *NOT* have released a tool in this state. Indeed I have tools in better states (development-wise) that I still consider not ready for sale yet.

need to build a lock for these ignitions.. goes in.. twists the end to lock it in.. put a padlock on it or some other kind of tumbler to prevent removal.. picking itching problem solved.

Rubbish tool. I tried on 3 different Ford locks without success. Finally, the tool is broken in a 4th lock. Waist of money. Back to the old Tibbie pick
