I have one from the first run.
The tires that I put on where J concepts tribute tires but I had to get the aluminum upgraded wheel spacers.
If you want it as a basher put a brushless motor in it.
I was actually using mine as a crawler monster truck with the J concert tribute tires using stock motor and putting Lockers in both front and rear diff's along with converting it into a 4-wheel steering.
But since I had no need for that any more it's going to be converted back to a basher but if I do that I have to put the stock suspension arms back on because if I don't want it to twister or lean everytime I hit the throttle I need the rear sway bar back on.

I started out with a stampede 2wd. Am getting a the digger smt10 soon. I plan on doing ecatly what you did like you i like the response of the stampede setup and that smt controller do suck. Any way you could do a video on how to make the swap correctly?

I was never liked that model of ESC... Didn't take long for mine to die on 2s with my vaterra
Edit: also, never over volt those servos over 6.8v 😁
