If the clear use of AI in the footage/images shown hasn't convinced you enough to not drop a dime on this game, maybe I can lend some additional information that will.
On top of little to no information on *what* the game is, and no real footage of what the gameplay is like, the studio behind the game, SuperAuthenti Co., has nothing else to offer and leaves no digital footprints. From some digging before information was wiped, the creator behind Catly, Kevin Yeung, has engaged with crypto and NFTs. A previous (assumedly defunct) studio he was associated with, TenthPlanet, developed games that were planned to be blockchain based. Don't let the cute cat visuals blindsight you into what could very well just be a ripoff and waste of your money 🙄

You know, I've sometimes given myself hate for the pixel platformer I've been solo developing not being the best quality game. This trailer has not only told me that the work I'm doing is actually good, but that it's also leagues ahead of something that actually featured at The Game Awards... Thank you Catly for letting indie gamedevs know that no matter how bad they think their games are, at least they're not you.

How is it that Geoff will go out and talk about how volatile the gaming space has been with countless layoffs, proceed to present an award to some guy (i forgot his name, but i love what hes doing for those that have lost their jobs) who is trying to be a beacon in an uncertain market, and then show off an ai/nft game? Do better.
