Mares Puck Pro Dive Computer REVIEW

The Mares Puck Pro + dive computer features a large display that shows crystal clear information about your dive. The display shows large, visible digits ensuring all your vital information is clear so you know how deep you are or how long you can stay in the ocean at a quick glance.

The slim watch-style dive design provides a perfect fit. The Puck Pro features a single button, making the user interface simple to use, and navigation easy.

The screen on this dive computer is made from scratch-resistant Tempered Mineral Glass. Not only it incredibly robust but it also improves the readability at wider viewing angles so you can read the display from any position. The computer has a bottom timer mode which has a resettable average depth and stopwatch, this information is very key to a diver as it is good to know for safety. Each section has its own area on the screen so the top section will always display your depth, the midsection will display your NDL and lower section displays auxiliary information like water temperature.

This dive computer has a battery life of 200-300 dives, which is plenty of dives to use this computer to access useful information, the battery is also user-replaceable. To download your diving data you can purchase a piece of equipment which allows you to download your dive data, the options are Mares Bluelink Pro (Bluetooth), Mares Dive Link 2 USB and Mares Drak USB. The adapters for downloading your dive information is not included.

The Mares Puck Pro + Dive Computer is an upgrade from the Mares Puck Pro. The difference in these computers is the improved larger screen and thinner design. The Puck Pro + also can manage 2 gases and the sharpness and intensity of the display creates a better visibility.
