Good review. Have a Pixel 6 Pro as my personal handset and a Pixel 4a as a work provided one. I'm pretty impressed with the 4a 🐕🐶

Great review man... The 4a is an amazing phone and goes for less than $250 in the used market in my country. Even though it lacks 120Hz or a high-end processor, it's hard to find a more well-rounded phone at this price. I own an SE(2020) and that produces much worse photos and has terrible battery life. Xiaomi budget devices have worse cameras and software. It's perplexing that the 4A isn't more popular.

I've had my pixel 4a since release. The battery is still doing alright, but the build quality ended being the biggest compromise as my chasse has a lot of marks and indentations from bits of dust/debris that would get stuck behind my case. I also missed multitasking which I had on the last 2 phones I owned: the Huawei p20 and after that the Samsung a71, which I only owned for a couple months before accidentally dropping it in water, which led me to side-grade to the pixel 4a. I miss the macro camera on rare occasions that the Samsung had, but otherwise I am happier with this phone. I always wanted to have a Google phone since the nexus days, and this is more or less my perfect smartphone. I'm gonna use this thing up until it has nothing left.

You're right, the Pixel 4a is easily one of the best Pixel devices, and one of the best Google devices since the Nexus 5. Understated, but the perfect 'phone' for those who are looking for a device that just works. No gimmicks, no compromises. It's reliable and gives you everything that you need in a dependable daily driver. This was a great review Damien, keep it up! 🐶

Damien, I've had this device for 12 months it's been dropped in the bath dropped in the street, and never had one hiccup, it's a fantastic phone👍👍👍

Owned this for 13 months now. Most glitchiest phone I've ever owned, it's quite fustrating.
But I do love it, just wish an update one time would actually fix the issues.

My current phone is the legendary OnePlus 8T I got mine for £399. I love it it has 65w charging, great battery life, fast processor, good camera, 3 years of support too. Best phone of 2020 in my opinion.

Using it from last 7 months, apart from the battery backup I haven't experienced any other problem so far. Battery backup is okay for moderate use but for heavy usage I have to charge it twice a day sometimes.
