I totally agree, we have had some really great buddy reads in the Discord, Piranesi being a highlight of the year as the book, the discussion and live show were so much fun. I've had my most enjoyable reading year and found many new favourites thanks to the Discord. 2021 was a Brandon Sanderson year for me, reading Warbreaker, Mistborn, and most of The Stormlight Archive. I also reread 'The Cemetery of Forgotten Books' By Carlos Ruiz zafón in preparation for the final book of short stories 'the City of mist'.
I did attempt to make a Top10 for the year but ended up with a Top 25. It's been a good year!

What a good list! I had Piranesi and Sword of Kaigen on my list also, and I have Final Empire and Eleanor Oliphant five stars last year! Also totally agree with your thoughts on EotW. Had its issues but really set up the world.

Love your list! I so loved Eleanor oliphant & the midnight library. I'm up to date with the nevermoor books and they only get better, so you're in for a treat 😊
I'm super intrigued to read wheel of time now and I love your edition.

Nevermoor is just so cute! I picked up the other 2 books to read sometime soon as well!
Darker Shade of MAgic too, such a good series and I am super excited that she is doing more books in this world now!
And I mean, the world will never stop me from hyping up Sword of Kaigen! And Mistborn, so freaking good!

Great recommendations.
Definitely want to check out The Midnight Library, Piranesi and Darker Shade of Magic. Already planning to buy The Wheel of Time books, and currently reading The Final Empire.
