Oh man! I really want “you’ve reached Sam”, it’s been in my TBR ever since it was announced. Now that I know Jesse loved it it just moved to the top of my TBR. I’ll probably read it in January ❤️

I gave 3.5 stars for "You've Reached Sam" NOT only because of Julie. I just felt like Sam is waaaayy to 2 dimensional in the story . I get it, when she was chatting with him, Sam is ambiguous.

But in the BEFORE chapter. He felt to perfect and I just went

Ooo Jesse you should try out the red winter trilogy if you want more of the Japanese mythology backdrop. I read it pretty recently and loved the mythological element 🤌🏼
