Thanks for this video, haven't found too many vids on the comparison between these two. Tbh I'm a little disappointed by hiboy because I'm thinking about purchasing one, but it seems they keep getting one or two details wrong. (For me anyway) I figured the KS4 would have fixed certain issues like the brake now being on the left which is good, but then they removed the button which i don't like, because i prefer to use the button primarily. It almost seems like hiboy can't get out of it's own way when it comes to certain details. Thanks again for the vid!

Also from the pictures I looked at on Hiboy's website, S2 Pro has handle bars closer to the rider while the KS4's handle bars are further away and more upright. I'm a bigger rider so I'll probably go with the KS4

Nice video. I have been debating whether to buy the s2 pro vs this ks4 pro. It’s only $10 difference between the 2. I’m 6’ 205lbs and plan to use maybe one day to commute to start if not recreation.
I guess because of updates and screen upgrade I’ll go with the KS4?

I noticed also some S2 Pros come with solid rubber tires and some come with honeycomb tires. The honeycomb tires version also has different shaped thumb controls and the brake + electronics wire locations at the lower tube are parallel to each other instead of offset. I wonder if the honeycomb tires version is the newer updated version? I got sold the solid rubber tires version and just noticed the differences after watching many videos and seeing pics of other S2 Pros.

HiBoy needs to notify customers of this instead of allowing retailers to sell older versions for the same price, customers thinking it is the current one.

Looks like your KS4 Pro has solid rubber tires too. One thing I don't like with the KS4 Pro is it doesn't have the electronic brake lever like the S2 Pro.

On their website it shows you can get a new front wheel with the honeycomb tires, but shows the rear wheel with the solid rubber tires. Gets confusing as to which type of tire they are going to send you.

I don't understand why HiBoy needs to make a KS4 serious. It is basically the same thing as the S4 serious with minor cosmetic differences.

....motor placement, s2 pro has front motor ks4, rear, same size 500w, ks4 has a bigger battery and 5 more range. Is ks4 water resistant like.the s2 pro?

Q: I am considering upgrading from the s2 to s2 pro. Why would this model be a better choice. I feel I would miss the E brake that I have grown so accustomed accustomed to also the handbrake is just to sensitive on the s2. I don't want to be stuck with one break that I don't feel comfortable using. Any input on that issue?
