In my older age, I’ve come to believe that a common method of communicating and sharing wisdom and truth in times of chaos and tyranny has always been hidden within fictional stories. It’s one of the oldest ways to pass on, and preserve, the best and most sane perspectives to the future generations that survive the chaotic times.

I appreciate you taking the time to prepare and present this TED Talk.

This is also a genre of sci-fi called solarpunk! Where it’s built around bringing the earth back into settlement to work *with* the environment to better our communities!!

The Emerald Tutu actually already exists in nature. Sort of. It’s called the Mississippi River Delta, and its slow degradation is causing worse flooding in New Orleans. Ironically the loss of the delta may be due to the creation of levees, put in place to control water inundation
