New for 2021, Andrew Gold’s seasonal classic is now available on vinyl for the very first time. Andrew gold, the singer of Spooky Scary Skeletons sadly passed away from a heart failure in 2011. They may be riding the fame but they want to keep the name and soul of Andrew Gold alive even though he's in heaven now. They will do anything in their power to keep his name alive so we can all remember him.. I certainly will.

"We're sorry skeletons, you're so misunderstood
You only want to socialize, but I don't think we should"
This one still stands out to me personally

This song somehow always manages to gaslight me into thinking it’s October, even in July 😂

I remember one time (2013-2014?) I borrowed the CD that had this song on it from my local library just so I could listen to it on CD.

We will all become spooky scary skeletons in the end. It is inevitable. And all we do beforehand matters not.

I feel like the xylophone that has a profound solo part in this song goes well with the idea of a skeleton sound. Because a xylophone sounds like some bones being struck by other bones being used for drumsticks.

I still listen to this at least once a day since Halloween day/night. I heard one of my neighbors playing it down the street so I took out my party speaker and plugged it in to my laptop and played it even louder lol.
