Man, this brings back memories. In the 80s I also had an original optima, then an optima mid lwb for a while before getting a yokomo 870c. I had an uncle who used to travel to Japan for business in the 80s and he found the yokomo 870c kit for me on one of his trips. I had to save all the money from washing windows for people and selling firewood to pay for it.

Wow that is beautiful. Very nicely done. I have a worlds re-release waiting to be assembled when I can find time but I am quite envious of your build. Have to agree the Javelin is my fav. Thanks for sharing.

A beautiful build! I built the EXO Ultima mid conversion. Also a high quality kit, however they should have called it an Optima Mid 2wd because its mostly Optima parts LOL
