Palace Monrepos Ludwigsburg, Boat ride with relaxing music

Relaxing boat trip with relaxing music - view from the water. Peace, calm and serenity.
We travel back in time to 22 August 2022. Welcome to Domane Monrepos - a small palace near Ludwigsburg, Germany. Built in 1760 this palace is a place to visit in Germany. Monrepos features a lakeside with two artificial islands - Chapel (Kapelleninsel) and Cupid (Amoreninsel). On the chapel island you can find the small chapel, which is currently not accessible to public. The Cupid island used to have a small Cupid temple, but now nothing reminds us about it. During the boat trip we will sail around both islands, look at the Chapel and see the Palace from the lakeside. Afterwards we will go to the garden, around the hotel and come to the Wine store of Herzog von Württemberg. If you came during the non-business hours, you can buy wine (and glasses) in the 24/7 vending machine near the boats rental. The garden is accessible to public, but the palace itself is rented.

The parking on site is free of charge.

Hier haben wir als Kinder gespielt. Wir liefen von Asperg aus zum Schloß und an den See. Die amerikanischen Besatzer, in Ludwigsburg stationiert, machten oft Picknick am See und wir Kinder bekamen Schokolade, Kaugummi und Cola. Habe Monrepos noch sehr oft besucht und viele Fotos davon gemacht ♥️
