2017. A year with awesome new games to discover - just like NieR;Automata. While the first game was not very well known, many people were drawn into the world of NieR thanks to the sequel. And let¬‘s be honest: I am one of those people. Even though I knew about the existence of the original for many years now (I even sang an acapella of „Song of the Ancients“ with a friend and uploaded it on Soundcloud!) I never played it or even watched someone else doing it. My interest grew at the moment everyone went crazy about the demo of Automata - I saw a short gameplay myself and was amazed by the graphics. But it wasn’t until the release of the game that I decided to probably buy it myself. To prepare myself for this new world, I started to watch gameplay of the prequel, played Automata simultaneously after the first half and finished the let’s play around two weeks ago. I am so glad I discovered this little gem even if I regret I didn’t really play attention to it earlier.
So here am I, singing „ashes of dreams“ - a song, which deserves way more recognition than it gets - just like almost every other song from the ost. I hope, I was able to express my emotions in this cover and you all enjoy listening to it!

EDIT!: I tried to render/upload this video for 6 hours but it seems like the file was somehow cursed - this is the first time it actually looks and sounds normal. There are some minor issues with the video but I hope it doesn't annoy you too much because I really don't want to render it again... :/ If you feel the need to, please check out the wav-download to listen to it in the best quality possible.
