Yes, this Arc, WANO, is incredibly hype.
The story of One Piece is finally entering it's Endgame. Within 5 years, the series will end. Especially after seeing chapter 986.
I have been following One Piece weekly since 2005. I can't wait to see how it all goes from here.

One Piece received a major visual update when director Tatsuya Nagamine (Dragon Ball Super: Broly director) stepped on board as Series Director and that just naturally translated into the openings.

The show now uses an updated version of the line art filter from that Dragon Ball Super: Broly film.

I’ve been caught up to OP for awhile now and I can say the current arc is my favorite and it’s just as hype as the opening makes it seem🔥

I'm caught up with the manga and I think the last li year or so worth of chapters has been one of the most consistently amazing periods in One Piece's history. Every chapter has a huge reveal or absolutely hype moments. Apparently this coming chapter made an editor cry.
But I can really only think of a few times where One Piece has been as good as it has been recently. The current arc may actually become my favorite if this keeps up and the flashback that happened this arc stars a character who may end of my all time favorite character in the series.

One Piece is a series that very rewarded to watch/read, the story just keep escalating bigger and better. Right now that state of One Piece is pure hype of a just epicness but you don't get this emotional if you didn't follow his journey from the very beginning so my advice is just enjoying the other aspect of it. One Piece is not about a fight even tho the fight itself is so satisfying but the adventure, comedy, characters, mystery and lore is what driven this series forward.

I'm still cathing up on the anime (currently at the marineford arc) and my favorite openings so far are one day (op 13), fight together (op 14) and Hope (op 20). Though this new opening is great too, the song is really catchy and the animation is really good!

Well yeah what can i say, wano is the best arc, marineford come in second. I thought oda couldn't make any better arc than the marineford, cz marineford is just too crazy, the build up to that arc is just on another level. But wano arc is just something else, even tho the arc hasn't finished yet but i can already tell THIS IS THE BEST ARC.
