Henry The Green Engine's Theme (Series 3)

Just quickly going through some old files again. This is probably one of the best songs from Series 3. Taking the all the elements from the classic Henry Theme but redoing every component with the fresh Proteus kit (at the time).
I like how S3 still kept the iconic percussion in the themes in a lot of the themes, something that the music in the later show lacked a bit after S4.

Yes the remaster of Henry's S3 theme has arrived! When you posted that S3 remix of Henry's Theme, which was your first post of 2022, I thought it would be cool if your last post of 2022 was his actual S3 theme. These remasters are such a treat to listen to. One thing I've noticed is the tempo has been improved. The original was slightly slower. This mix is much better too! The strings are much more prominent and have nice panning, the percussion is much more crisp, and the flutes sound lovely. I'm really glad I archived so many of your old mixes as I had a feeling one day you'd go back and update them.

One of my favorite season 3 themes!

If I could ask for a request, I'd ask for Toby's season 4 theme. It's always been a sad-feeling theme for me, because I get an "End of an era" feel to it, since you hear it during two of the final season 4 episodes (Bulls-Eyes and Special Attraction), and that you're running up against what was the end of the best period of Thomas IMO (last RWS-based season, last Carlin-narrated season in US, etc).

Henry made good progress. When they reached Edward’s station, his driver stopped the train beyond the platform. Then Henry gave a special signal. “Peep, peep, peep, peep! I need help please!” “Peep, peep!” replied Duck. “Wouldn’t be long.” Duck buffered gently up to Henry’s train. He was not coupled on. Henry would then be able to run on without stopping when reached the top of the hill. “Ready!” whistled Duck. And off they went.

Soon they reached Gordon’s Hill. “Push hard, push hard, ” puffed Henry. “We’re doing it, we’re doing it, ” replied Duck. Henry was pulling his train harder than he realized. (The lamp from the fourth van comes off all of a sudden) Duck felt the weight on his buffers slacking. Then Duck noticed something else. “There’s no sign of a tail-lamp!” he puffed. He whistled, but there was no reply. Meanwhile, Henry had noticed something too. “My train’s getting heavier, ” he thought to himself. “I’m slowing down.” Then there was trouble. (Duck smashes into the vans, causing Henry to come to a stop)
