About WestJet (from Wikipedia):
WestJet Airlines Ltd. is a Canadian airline headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, near Calgary International Airport. It is the second-largest airline based in Canada, behind Air Canada, operating an average of 777 flights and carrying more than 66,130 passengers per day. In 2018, WestJet carried 25.49 million passengers, making it the ninth-largest airline in North America by passengers carried.

WestJet was founded in 1994 and began operations in 1996. It began as a low-cost alternative to the country's competing major airlines.

About the Boeing 787 Dreamliner (from Wikipedia):
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is an American wide-body jet airliner developed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. After dropping its unconventional Sonic Cruiser project, Boeing announced the conventional 7E7 on January 29, 2003, which focused largely on efficiency. The program was launched on April 26, 2004, with an order for 50 aircraft from All Nippon Airways (ANA), targeting a 2008 introduction.

On July 8, 2007, a prototype 787 was rolled out without major operating systems, and then the aircraft experienced multiple delays until its maiden flight on December 15, 2009.

The train in the beginning is a through service from the Asakusa Line to the Keisei Main Line to Narita Airport.

Interesting choice, most others use SKYLINER, Airport Limousine, or Narita Express.

The flight review itself is useful for Canadians looking for options outside expensive Japanese mainline carriers

Fun fact. The crew are not supposed to help with the stowage of cabin baggage for safety reasons.

We flew a WestJet Dreamliner from London Heathrow to Canada, well happy with the company.

This seems like an outlier, Westjet's service is usually spot on and something must have went wrong, hope you have a good flight next time!

Thanks for posting this. I live a few hours north of Calgary so wondered how much better the flight from there to Tokyo would be as opposed to Vancouver. Westjet originally started out as a discount airline and they were trained to be upbeat and positive so I'm a bit surprised about the lack of friendliness and junk attitude of those flight attendants, however I would hope for all our sake that isn't the norm now. Safe stay and travels in the future bro.

Nice video, but the crew cant help put baggage up, they only get paid when the flight departs and they can risk injuring themselves prior to departure.

WestJet doesn't fly to Vancouver from Tokyo. JAL and Air Canada do from NRT and All Nippon Airways from HND

Flight crew cannot help with your luggage. they are actually not being paid until the doors close and would nit be covered should they injure themselves with YOUR bags.
