This does not work for Windows 10 home. Tried this 10 times so far and it doesn't keep that setting. It changes it back to automatic at some point. After windows 10 update my computer won't work so I have to restore the old version and then it updates again and I have to restore then it updates again and I have to restore etc etc. So stupid. New OS time

Setting my nw connection as metered worked for me. Just disable the automatic updates from services.msc... windows periodically automates the windows update thing.. keep checking every 15/20 days...

When you disable automatic updates from services on Windows 10 Home, the next time you boot your pc up, the pc turns them back on to Utterly THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN THEM OFF COMPLETELY on Windows 10 Home! Fact!!!!
