Thinking requires a lot of energy, so we do everything in our power to avoid it. Most logical conclusions from AFTER we’ve felt it’s the right thing to do. Logic as the result of emotion not in spite of emotion.
If you’re a smart person, this will make you rethink how you communicate.
Beating people’s logic with emotion won’t work.
Only listening to them, understanding, and empathizing will allow people to drop their guard enough to listen to you and your logic.
But once you start doing that.
You’re unstoppable.
