How to copy Echo as Echo. The Dupeception Glitch ('NEW') *PATCHED ON 2/22/2022*

i have figured out how to copy Echo as Echo WITHOUT workshop! and YES you can copy Echo AGAIN after copying Echo. YOU CAN COPY TWO TIMES BEFORE YOU GET STUCK.

i think the dva thing also has something to do with the glitch on dva where she sometimes spawns outside the map. so your copied body might be falling from the sky somewhere might have to have your friends fly around and look to see.

I find it interesting that the developers didn't code in a check when the duplicate actually goes through to ensure it isn't copy an Echo, as opposed to preventing it by simply preventing the copy to through when looking at an Echo. Seems like a pretty basic fail-safe to add in, unless there was originally the intention to be able to copy Echo (or perhaps devs were just playing around with it). Interesting stuff!

I always hoped for Echo being duplicable, imagine to have a second echo slightly unaligned with the original one and with the blue duplicate shader that execute the same action of the original Echo with a little delay (6+6 sticky bombs, 2 beams and 6 hits for right click)

I actually did this a long time ago in a custom game “You VS You” where it changed a bot from Ana to Echo. Worked exactly like this
