Goodbye from the wonderful soundtrack Hachi. Composed by Jan Kaczmarek. Today it's also the birthday of Jan Kaczmarek so I thought it would be a good idea to share this for his birthday :)

I hope you will enjoy this ending piece of the movie which is quite emotional I think. The movie is really sad but great at the same time. If you haven't seen it then I advice it :)

Watched this movie several years ago and have never been able to watch it again for how hard it made me cry. As a pianist, however beautiful this piece is, could never bring myself to play it for the memories it triggers.

De progressie van akkoorrden, de harmonische oplossingen, de variaties van het motief brengt een emotie van leven. Van een landschap wat al jaren hetzelfde mooie uitstraald. Hachi zal een film zijn, maar deze ken ik niet. Ik weet dus niet wat de originele gedachten/inspiratie achter de compositie is, maar ik vind het een geweldig mooi en hartverwarmend stuk.
Jouw arragement klinkt als een volmaakt stuk wat denk ik het mooiste compliment is dat ik kan geven.

Niet alle filmmuziek die jij arrangeert vind ik even mooi, maar deze is echt heerlijk. Thanks
