Shodan Search Engine Tutorial - Access Routers,Servers,Webcams + Install CLI

preview_player
Показать описание
Shodan is a search engine that lets the user find specific types of computers (webcams, routers, servers, etc.) connected to the internet using a variety of filters. Some have also described it as a search engine of service banners, which are meta-data the server sends back to the client. This can be information about the server software, what options the service supports, a welcome message or anything else that the client can find out before interacting with the server.
Shodan collects data mostly on web servers (HTTP/HTTPS - port 80, 8080, 443, 8443), as well as FTP (port 21), SSH (port 22), Telnet (port 23), SNMP (port 161), SIP (port 5060), and Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP, port 554). The latter can be used to access webcams and their video stream.

Why are ppl so critical when ppl put out tutorials? Why arent we just helping further the knowledge for the whole community instead of pointing and saying "he doesnt know this or that!" What about all the awesome stuff he IS showing us?!?

Awesome video!
Can you make a tutorial on how to control a computer when you are on the same network.
Like for example. I'm with my friend at his house and he got a younger brother. Can you teach us how to take control over his younger brothers computer and use it while he is using it. It would be fun to fuck around with him.
That would be so awesome!

Best regards, Nicholas.

Just sorted the non working video feed - there is a small square box with an arrow through it by the numbers in title results of the search - click on the box and you get the video feed Thanks

I dont understand why would we use Shodan....Its fun to see all those features but how does it help in a general problem solving...? Could you break into any system using this...it looks more like a community where systems have voluntarily agreed to become transparent...please correct me if I am wrong..

Good morning, my name is Rodrigo and I'm a Brazilian Army soldier. I am taking a postgraduate degree in the area of information security, and my course completion work uses shodan as the main tool of work. I could not find anything on the internet that can help me on what I need to do, but I sure believe that you will give me a help. I would like to be able, through the communication of the python API to shodan, to do search filtered by specific types of connected IOTs, for example: search only for smart connected refrigerators, search only for 70-inch smart TV, search for high IP cameras resolution. I've read a lot about the APIs, but I can not do anything that returns this kind of more specific search. That's why I turn to your help. Sorry for the English of "google translator", but it was the quickest way I found to communicate with you.
Thanks for the help, and hope you can get a return.
Best Regards Rodrigo
