i'm glad they didn't choose kellin cause i love kurtis sm, his clean vocals suited dgd in a way no other singer could (maybe apart from tilian)

A lot of people are saying that Kellin wouldn’t of fit dgd but I disagree. I think kellin has the vocal talent to shift to different work like this, doesn’t mean that I think kurt johnny & tillian aren’t good or amazing because they’re the dgd we know today but I think people are bashing this too hard saying that it doesn’t fit him

bro you just awakened some deep memories I had with this song. For the longest time I've had it on my phone since high school days (10 years ago), listening to it along many other post hardcore bands. The thing is I had already forgotten about it, I just could remember vaguely that it used to be a cover made by kellin but I was trying to remember which song was it based off. Funny part is, I was (and still am) a big dgd fan back in the day but for some reason I forgot the song was a cover of a dgd song, a very well known one lol.

Kurt definitely fit this era of dgd style better, with h kellin it sounds a lot more like dbm2 style.
