Thank you Nick. I have been working with REVIT for over 17 years now, but still I learn things from your pamphlets and videos.

For 20 years I've had no idea what the difference between strong and weak reference planes are until now 😂. Thanks nick.

This video is crucial to working with families! Thank you, Nick! The first time I watched the video it wasn't very clear, because I used "Tab" when aligning and picked a Weak Reference line so it behaved as Strong Reference (stretched). Now few months passed and I've just got a difference between RP, it's the order of references without using "Tab".🤯

Thanks Nick for still tremendous pure Rvt guides. Small note: since BIM pure pamphlet came out PDF file size got ~3 times bigger...which the first blue page alone is 3meg size. Previous RevitPure pamphlets were at nimble size. Thought you might for the dedications !

I attempted to use the strong and weak reference lines (2.20), but it didn’t work. The family behaved as if the reference was set to weak. I also tried aligning the family by using the reference lines to which to the geometry was aligned to, but the geometry acted as if it was set to strong, even when it was set to weak.

Thank you! Been working in Revit for 5 years but always confused about weak and strong reference! But still have question. When editing family RP within family editor how when I have 2 RP, sometimes is moving one RP and another remains at the same position but I need viceversa ???🙄
