The classrooms I was in never had a calm down corner back when and where I was a school student and for me even in my life with autism back then, adjusting from home to school almost everyday was the big change for me because of the many struggles and temptations that I dealt with and there were moments when my body just did not want me to do anything when I had to .
You are such an angel with your students to be working with them and have that space for them and allowing them that moment to clear their heads the way that you do .
I truly enjoyed Your classroom tour . It's awesome .

Reward Idea for Stars: a picnic lunch outside with Mrs. Call! :) My kids loveee things like that (best part is that it doesn't cost anything) and sometimes I'll bring a sweet treat as well. Love your room! :)

I love this!! I'm a senior in college, not a teaching major. I truly never realized how much work goes into a classroom and all of the learning materials, especially for primary grades. I just know your students appreciate you and all the work you put in.
