The "far right" label is getting thrown about so much it is almost funny.
I think that most people use it simply because that is what they've heard other's say, or because they are trying to be offensive.

I once got kicked out of a friend's chat group for talking about how the tradition of classical music in Western culture is dying out due to a paradigm shift in how Gen Z learns and what they are interested in culturally. I was called "generationist" (add that one to the vernacular if you haven't heard it yet) and accused of promoting an anti-Leftist narrative the "Right" uses about education. Something about trans ideology was also thrown in there but made no sense.

Nevermind the fact that my previous partner was actually a professional musician and professor, and I watched this unfold in the education system for 5 years in real time when we cohabitated.

I've got plenty of education system tea they don't want spilled, but using that metaphor probably also puts me on the Right because it could reference the Boston Tea Party or something.

I think if people actually stopped and thought about there political views, I'm sure most will find that they have some conservative and liberal views about their society.
The middle ground is where we seem to find the most common sense.

My college freshman humanities teacher would have straightened him out. "Anyone who in any way challenges the radical progressive leftist narrative is automatically right wing." I can see the red ink in the margin saying, "Anyone? How do you know that?"
