Why should Charles even consider abdicating? He hasn't even been crowned yet and has only been king for about three months. Also, abdication while it maybe Dutch way of passing on the crown, it has never been the British or English way with the exceptions of defeated kings (Edward II and Richard II) or in the case of Edward VIII, the only way he could marry the woman he loved. Charles is in his 70's already and has waited a very long time to become king. Let him show what he can do before anyone starts talking abdication.

There is only one reason that the King will not abdicate and it’s this ………. The king is exactly like the majority of, albeit silent, decent people of Great Britain, who do NOT shirk nor run away from duty and responsibility unless dead or dying. I feel there is nothing wrong with abdication. I am from Holland. We have had our queens abdicate. Queen mother Beatrix is still pretty active, but not because she HAS to. Because she WANTS to. This video proves to all the Americans that hate King Charles III because of the death of Princess Diana TWENTY-FIVE (25) YEARS AGO that the King abdicating the throne is not as easy as saying that "He should abdicate and make way for Prince William."
Did they even ask the Prince of Wales if he was ready to take the throne?

Some of the reasons you've put forward for not doing so are ludicrous e.g. abdication could put pressure on Prince William and Prince George (a minor). I disagree with this video. This man prepared to be the King of the United Kingdom for 73 years. Oh so proper, charismatic with his people and the rest of the world.

In the 16 minutes 15 second of this video where practically canonized King Charles, the name of Princess Diana is not mentioned.
It's all about Charles, his 74 years of monarch props exclude his infidelity to princess Diana, with a woman best friend to Cruella De Vil, lovely sugar pump Camilla, married with two children whom apparently are out and away the spotlights of the paparazzi because they love their father and are not too proud that their mother is the rival of the most admired and beloved woman of the world, Princess Diana. Lady Di suffered the infidelity of her husband, who she loved and perhaps if Charles would've never cheated on her, their marriage would've still exist and Princess Diana may still be alive today, because being Charles wife, she would've been with him and not pursuit but annoying paparazzi chasing her in that Paris' tunnel where she lost her life. Though, she had the right to move on and start over with someone else. Some believe Diana was used only to conceive Charles'children to heir the British throne. With that done, Diana was no longer needed, she was a young girl in love with the wrong person. During her death, the royal family fled to Balmoral Castle in Scotland to avoid the myth of Lady Di death and the people's reaction.
Her death impacted the planet, each human being residents of Earth felt that grief, the sorrow, all but the Royal family whose kept silence before the lost the world felt. The British and the Royal flags were not flown half mass to show the people of England respect.
Queen Elizabeth II excused was, Diana wasn't part of the Royal family anymore so therefore she had no Royal's privileges. The two heartbroken young Princes cried out loud. That's our mother! A week went by and no signs of the Royal family.
When Queen Elizabeth heard the words the British people were shouting " Abolish the Monarchy" that set the Queen straight, decided to come back to Buckingham palace, fly the flags half mass, go confront the people, visit the sea of flowers outside the palace. Read the notes left by people, many notes accusing the Royal family. Queen Elizabeth then broadcast her condolences in National television.
Prince Charles prepared to be King for 73, he is so fragile that he can't move a pen holder, someone has to move it for him.

Even with Charles' history of marrying Diana, I like the man. He always loved Camilla and was forced into marriage with Diana. Diana did bear him two sons so he did get something out of the marriage. He is now happy. I like Camilla. She's been forced into the front by marrying Charles, but she is making a fine Queen. William will get his turn in time, and George will have a chance to grow up.
